According to Romans 8:37 we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. I John 5:5, Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. We overcome by our faith in Jesus. Faith is trusting and believing in Jesus. Learn to operate out of the Kingdom of heaven where Jesus is Lord and not this world's system where Satan is lord. Jesus never disappoints you and He will never leave you!
Jesus gives us the power to overcome the test and trials this world brings us. I John 5:4-5, For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. 5 Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. Through my faith in Jesus, I overcome!
Vertical living with God allows me to live horizontal for Him. When I focus on God and live for Him then I am a follower of God and I become a living example to those around me. Paul said that we are to be examples to those around us. Are we showing people around us how to live for God?
The grace of God will do for you what you cannot do for yourself. Paul find this out when he was dealing with his thorn in the flesh. He asked Jesus to remove it and Jesus told him, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” God provides the miraculous when we focus on Him!
Acts 8:1-4, Saul before he became Paul was a thorn in the flesh to all Christians. Saul persecuted the Christians. Then Saul had a Damascus road experience with Jesus and the one who was persecuting Christians became a Christian! There are many thorns in the flesh but God's grace will give us the strength we need to overcome!
Focus means what am I attending to or what am I concentrating on. Frustration means trouble, annoyed or bothersome. Don't focus on the frustration! Realign with God, focus on Him and the frustration goes away! Realign means to bring back order! Paul had trouble on every side but was not distressed! 2 Corinthians 4:8. Our hope is in God. Allow the Greater One to be released in your life.
We need to focus on the Truth of God's Word. James 1:25, But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience]. Be a active agent of God's Word. Focus on living truth. Pay attention to His Word! His Word is able to save you, heal you, comfort you, give you peace and so much more!
Let's stay focused on Jesus in 2021. Focus on a realm that is deeper then this world's system. What you focus on, you become! Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25, says There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Stay focused on things above, the Kingdom of God!
Jesus had focus in His life. He was focused on going to the cross and dying for you and me to have eternal life. We must have the same focus in our lives. Matthew 6:33 says to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto us. As we focus on God and serving Him, He takes care of the rest. Our priorities must be in order: God, family then our job. Practice focusing in 2021!

Jesus, I ask You to forgive me of my sins. I want You to come and live in my heart. You are my Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and arose from the dead and with my mouth I confess You as my Savior.
Thank You for saving me, amen!
Romans 10:9-10, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
