Accept Jesus as your Savior and experience real peace. Life changing words from the Living God can change my life to His purpose, will and plan for my life. According Romans 5:1, when we are made righteous by asking to forgive us of our sins we have peace with God through Jesus. True peace that will sustain you through any storm of life!
Jesus is our peace. In Matthew 8:26, Jesus spoke to the storm and said, "Peace be still." As we trust in Jesus you can speak to the storms in your life and say, "Peace be still." There are so many things in the natural that will try to stop your walk with God. Let nothing stand between you and your relationship with Jesus. Jesus brings great peace in the midst of any storm of life!
As we continue the story of Gideon, God called him a mighty man of valor. Gideon submitted or surrendered himself to God and what He wanted done. Gideon realized that he was talking to the Lord face to face. He became afraid but the Lord told him in Judges 6:23 to not be afraid. Gideon then built an altar to the Lord and named it "The Lord is Peace". Gideon defeated an army with only 300 men. Gideon had peace in turbulent times!
Inner peace in trying times only comes from Jesus as the Prince of Peace. In Judges 6 the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because they were in turmoil or unrest. God sent Gideon to help them get their peace back. We will continue with Jehovah Shalom, the Lord our peace next week!
Abraham said in Genesis 22:8, the Lord will provide. Abraham fully trusted in God and God did provide because Abraham obeyed and trusted in Jehovah Jireh! Genesis 22:14
Jehovah Nissi: The Lord Our Banner. God wants to be your banner. He wants you to come to Him about everything. Read the story in Exodus 17 about Moses and Joshua winning the battle. When you put your faith and trust in God, He will go to war for you. Whatever situation or circumstance you face put it in God's hands and let Him be your Banner!
Jehovah Tsidkenu, The Lord our Righteousness (Jeremiah 23:6). We are to be a holy, righteous people of God who carry the presence of Lord where ever we go! I become holy and righteous when I accept Jesus as my Savior and follow after Him. Jesus is my Righteousness! For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
Jehovah El Kanna means He is a jealous God. It is a good kind of jealousy. Exodus 20:5, We are not to bow down to other gods for He is a jealous God. 2 Corinthians 6:16, And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Our Heavenly Father loves us. He sent is only Son so that we could have a relationship with Him!
Proverbs 18:10, The Name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run in to it and they are safe. Today we are establishing who God is! He is Adonai which means Master, He is El Eylon-Most High God, He is El Olam-Everlasting God. Next week we will look at some more names for God and continue to establish who God is!

Jesus, I ask You to forgive me of my sins. I want You to come and live in my heart. You are my Lord and Savior. I believe You died for my sins and arose from the dead and with my mouth I confess You as my Savior.
Thank You for saving me, amen!
Romans 10:9-10, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
