A tribute to those who lost their lives and those who sacrificed to save lives on 9/11/2001.
Prayer is talking with God. Prayer energizes the heart of the believer and it releases the power of God in your situation. Your prayer life and your walk with God are always evolving. Never stop talking with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. They will help you with whatever you need and guide you into all truth!
The prayer of faith is a confident belief in truth. A belief that doesn't rest on logical proof. Faith is greater that the five senses. Faith is a set of principles like trusting in God. Faith always requires an element of action. Ephesians 2:8, For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
2 Cor. 5:7, for we walk by faith and not by sight. The prayer of faith is trusting in God no matter what the outward situation looks like. Faith requires diligence, not being slothful and patience. See through the eyes of faith and stand on the promises of God!
I Peter 1:18-19, knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. We are redeemed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus overcoming power and reconciling power. The precious of blood of Jesus brings us great peace and joy. What can wash away my sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus!
2 Timothy 2:3 tells us to endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. We're going to have suffering in this world but through the help and strength of Jesus we can endure whatever comes our way. Find a good group of people who teach the truth of the Word of God.
Matthew chapter 6 tells us how to live each day. We are to be givers, we are to pray, we are to fast, not be lovers of money, don't worry about food, drink or clothing and we are to seek the Kingdom of God first! Lay up treasures in heaven, give, pray, fast, don't worry and seek God first!
John 10:4, And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Accept Jesus as your Savior, focus on God, His love, be committed to Him and love Him. God wants you to hear His Voice. He speaks to us through the Bible and in a still small voice!
The cost of being a disciple is God's will above our will. You are happier and more blessed when you are in the will of God. Matthew 16:24, Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. There is a price to for being a disciple but the blessings of being a disciple far out weight the cost.
Pastor Damir Sicko Alic from Croatia teaches us to have spiritual fathers and mothers. God has called us to be sons and daughters. Romans 8:15, 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
What is my life portraying? Who am I accountable to? Who can speak into my life? Are we walking, talking, thinking, speaking and living like Jesus? Galatians 2:20, I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
One definition of love is a deep spiritual connection that helps us fine true purpose and meaning in our lives. God is love! For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever shall believe on Him shall have eternal life (John 3:16). I John 3:18 says to love not in tongue but in action. My lips and my actions should line up together. We are to love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. Your faith works by your love!
Matthew 6:21, For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. A good definition of treasure is-what motivates me to action or what do I value. Matthew continues in chapter 6 to tell us you cannot serve two masters. We must first serve Jesus 100%. Don't let anything have your attention more than Jesus. Yes, live a normal life but put God first! He knows our heart!
Your life will never be fulfilled until God gets your whole heart. Where your treasure is, is where your heart is, Matthew 6:21. We need to lay up treasures in heaven while we are here on this earth. Maybe we need to change the address of where our heart is living. The thing of this world will take you down. I Timothy 6:11, tells us to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
Matthew 11:28-30, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” There is a spiritual rest in Jesus for believers! Your life from beginning to end is a promise land or a wilderness! Live a life of faith, serving God, learning and resting in Him!
