Remembering 911

A tribute to those who lost their lives and those who sacrificed to save lives on 9/11/2001.

The Precious Blood of Jesus

I Peter 1:18-19, knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. We are redeemed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus overcoming power and reconciling power. The precious of blood of Jesus brings us great peace and joy. What can wash away my sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus!

One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus

Matthew chapter 6 tells us how to live each day. We are to be givers, we are to pray, we are to fast, not be lovers of money, don't worry about food, drink or clothing and we are to seek the Kingdom of God first! Lay up treasures in heaven, give, pray, fast, don't worry and seek God first!

Hearing the Voice of God in a Noisy World

John 10:4, And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Accept Jesus as your Savior, focus on God, His love, be committed to Him and love Him. God wants you to hear His Voice. He speaks to us through the Bible and in a still small voice!

The Father and His Family

Pastor Damir Sicko Alic from Croatia teaches us to have spiritual fathers and mothers. God has called us to be sons and daughters. Romans 8:15, 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

Love-Main Characteristic of a Disciple

One definition of love is a deep spiritual connection that helps us fine true purpose and meaning in our lives. God is love! For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever shall believe on Him shall have eternal life (John 3:16). I John 3:18 says to love not in tongue but in action. My lips and my actions should line up together. We are to love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. Your faith works by your love!

Amazing Grace How Sweet the Sound

What a beautiful song written by John Newton. God's amazing grace He gives us everyday. Romans 5:9, while we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us and we can have peace with God through Jesus (Romans 5:1). Right before John Newton died he said, "My memory is nearly gone, but I remember two things: That I am a great sinner and that Christ is a great Savior!"

Stability in Changing Times

Colossians 2:6-7, As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Firmly establish your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will have a firm foundation for the troubling times that this world brings.

Stability for Changing Times Pt. 2

We as Christians need to stand firm in these changing times. There is uncertainty in the world's eyes but our hope is in Jesus. I Corinthians 15:58 says, Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. We need to continue to pray, stand firm on the Word of God and continue to put our trust in the Lord!

Stability for Changing Times Pt. 3

Isaiah 33:6, Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure. You can have stability in these fast paced changing times. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and Jesus is the strength of our lives. Build you life upon the Rock, Jesus!

Stay Close

Psalm 73:28, but it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all Your works. In these ever changing times we need to stay close to Jesus and learn to listen to His voice. When you are staying close to the Lord you are spending time with Him in worship, prayer and His word. Take a moment to honor the Lord and learn to stay close to Him!

Living a Life of Thanksgiving

Learn to live a life of thanksgiving everyday! I Thessalonians 5:18, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Don't allow yourself to gripe and complain. Philippians 2:14, do all things without complaining and arguing. Also, don't compare yourself with others. Begin to thank God for what you have rather than comparing yourself with others. Give thanks every day with a grateful heart!

Why Did Jesus Come?

Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:9-10). Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). Jesus came to bring light to a dark world (John 12:46) and Jesus came to bear witness to the truth (John 18:37). Jesus give us life, light and hope!

God's Love Revealed

God's love revealed to us is His gift of Jesus. John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in His should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus came to give us eternal life, hope, peace, life and joy! Jesus is the complete package!
